will Ihad the purple one of these I bought outside and it was barely visible in daylight. I don't think it was anything to do with it being sunlight - they are just not super bright.

Q: what temp Sensor is in the Hotend?

Asked by Kai on 2020-12-21 04:25:55

will Itis an NTC 100K thermistor - the same type that is in the Ender 3 by default. I made a 1:1 switch on my machine rather than put this whole hotend my machine. The milling around the thermistor seemed way too large and would need a thermal compound to conduct to the block well. Thermistor and heater cartridge worked just fine though.

Q: What type of connector is it?

Asked by BG411447443 on 2020-12-17 10:20:21

will It depends what connectors your referring to - there are a number of them. For power it's screw terminals. For steppers it's dupont inputs, for steppers it's JST connectors. There are other connectors too depending on what your looking to attach.

will I never measured it with an oscilloscope or anything like that but I've used these for basic led strip lights drawing 3A at 5v bucked from 12v and I also boosted 5v to 12v at 2A. There was no voltage dips at that point (there is an alright smoothing capacitor on the output). I wouldn't push the much farther than that to power high drain LEDs because they got very hot how I used them. Youd want a heatsink on the regulator or maybe even a fan. At that point your better off just using a more well suited power supply I reckon.

Q: Can you see IR light at night?

Asked by mihakrsevan on 2020-10-20 12:55:01

will You can, the camera includes IR leds to iluminate what it's looking at as well and switches to IR mode when it is in low light. I have not tested the distance it can cover as I use these inside a small hallway and small room.
