Victorebot VT02 RTR Review
Fast delivery, arrived safely and ok.
Ordered from Banggood on 01/25/2023 - delivered on 02/07/2023
A great RC car. Lots of fun and worth the money!
Price €42.70 including shipping. (Regular price €64.38)
negative:
- The batteries are not lithium-polymer, but lithium-ion batteries (but no Lipos were advertised in the offer).
- The compartment for the battery is under the vehicle and very narrow, so connecting and removing becomes a game of patience.
- The Karo clips have a little less tension - there are 4 extra pieces for that ;)
- 1/16 looks small compared to other vehicles in this scale.
- No active or passive cooling for the motor and controller (this means that the battery also gets warm on longer journeys, as it is installed right next to the motor).
- The tires / rims wobble (probably the wheel mounts are not 100% centered).
positive:
+ The vehicle looks valuable, stable and, apart from small things, is solidly processed.
+ Withstood several hours of bashing in the forest and in the skate park with almost no damage (nothing broken or bent).
+ Many spare parts are included (screws, washers, brackets, steering rods, servo rod, drive rods).
+ Magnetic mini tool is included.
+ Remote control makes a good impression and offers many setting options. The range is at least 50m without interference or dropouts (I haven't tried more).
+ Relatively lag-free response (good for this price range).
+ Dampers cushion well and are matched to the vehicle weight (quite hard).
+ Karo and chassis swallow unclean or hard driving maneuvers without any problems.
+ long cable on the charger.
+ Splashproof (not waterproof!).
+ Drives well and is easy to use.
+ 1 battery lasted about 30 minutes under full load (at about 0 degrees Celsius).
+ I don't have a GPS to check the promised 38 km/h speed - but it feels quite fast and pulls through well.
