Q: I have it running connected to a A4988 stepper driver at 7v, 450ma and 8 micro-steps - the stepper motor gets very hot running continuously. The only way I can get it to run without overheating is to enable driver, drive for less than 1 turn (160 steps) then disable the driver and wait a second.
