Received the soldering iron with 5 extra tip, some solder, and tiny stand very quickly. According to the site I should have received the entire list below - instead only the first four items were in the package. - received: 1 x Temperature Adjust Soldering Iron 5 x Pieces Spare Soldering Iron Tips 1 x Soldering Stand 1 x Tin Wire - these items were absent: 1 x Screwdriver (Contain 4 Spare Screwdriver Head) 1 x Desoldering Pump 2 x Electronic wire 1 x Mini wire stripper 2 x Tweezers(Fine tip curved,Fine tip straight) 1 x Nylon Bag Not a big deal - the most important part is the iron itself, of course (and it does indeed seem to get up to 600°C, albeit only just). But it would have been nice to have the entire tool kit as expected.

Pleasantly surprised by the sturdy feel and apparently rugged construction. The user interface is reasonably clear, and I was even able to get the PC-based software running, whereby one can control the oscilloscope from the PC, and download and display waveform data. This software is still slightly buggy and unstable, but no doubt it should improve with time. Rather importantly the batteries are two standard 18650 cells, which means that they should be easy to replace a few years down the line. Thus far I am therefore quite pleased with the new toy. It took exactly two weeks from order placement to delivery, which is not bad at all.
