Q: Which cameras support?

Asked by Giorgos on 2022-10-03 12:07:34

xndz I'm using it with Dahua cameras, but since it's generic POE switch any camera should be working fine. The downside is that uplink is only 100mbps, so you might hit its limit with many 2K or 4K cameras.

xndz It's regular Android OS. It supports USB Webcam but performance is very poor.

xndz It is compatible with sonoff RF bridge if you flash it with Tasmota or Esphome. It's not supported out of the box.

Q: Can be used to control Phillips hue from laptop?

Asked by zombiesaaargh on 2020-12-11 02:42:33

xndz In theory, yes. But it wouldn't be out of the box. You would need to flash dongle with something like Z-Stack-firmware->Z-Stack_3.0.x (or v1.2) and setup zigbee2mqtt (or something similar what supports cc2531) on your laptop. So it's doable in general, but it's not an easy task.

xndz Not sure what you mean but I'm using it with Sonoff RF bridge flashed either with Tasmota or Esphome and response is instant (for esphome response is faster imo)
