cuentochino Honestly I don't know. Didn't test if you can boot a system via this one. I use it like a storage usb drive. In theory if your BIOS system support booting via usb you should be able to boot from this one, once you install an operating system using the right utility to flash it on the BW-PSSD1 (utility like unetbootin, give a shoot at unetbootin.org). Usually windoze is a pain in the ass to boot via usb, while linuz will boot flawlessy. I've tested this procedure for other thumbs drive I own and it's ok, but again, I didn't test if the BW-PSSD1 will work this way. Nontheless it's a valid external SSD fast and realiable.
