These are bright and efficient, drawing about 110mA at 12V. Above that voltage, current drops off, as you would expect for a bulb with an integrated switchmode driver. Note that the description states they work at 8V - they don't, they don't hit full brightness until 12V.

Q: At that panel size and 20% efficiency, these panels are no more than 100 watt, this is clearly a false listing.

Works as expected, but has a couple of problems. Firstly, it isn't 800 lumens, nor is it using a T6 bin LED. Normally, Chinese sellers call XM-L LEDs T6 because they think that is the type of LED (it's the brightness bin, nothing more), but this light has an XP-E clone with a bluish tint. Brightness would be 150 lumens maybe. Also, the USB plug isn't very secure and actually pushes into the light body a little when you insert it into a USB port. It still charges, but the socket feels like it is just pushing up against a piece of dense foam inside the light, it feels "squishy". I expect the USB plug is attached to a PCB that is bonded to a battery and it is all just free floating inside the torch, with a piece of foam in there to stop it moving around. This design could be better. But overall, for the price, it is fine, would make a great torch for the kids etc.

StaceySt the table is incomplete. the kits day 2 5mm leds. the led is a single SMD. there is also a diode on the PCB but no diode in the parts

ledsales They look real, this unit, with the weldable post, retails for US$59 so these could just be a bulk purchase. Or, they may be rejects. There's no way to connect to it unless you weld to the end, they are rated as laser weldable, most people won't have that capability.

This is thinner than common builders plastic, has an uneven surface and a chemical smell, definitely not suitable for fish ponds etc, it is nowhere near as thick or as strong as regular grade pond liner.

The kit produces an excellent end result, the best LED clock I've built so far. It isn't for the novice builder, you will need a temperature controlled soldering station with a very fine tip for the main IC, plus very fine (0.5mm or thinner) solder. However, the kit I received was missing one of the 100nF caps (2 were supplied, the kit requires 3) and the buzzer was faulty and barely works (makes a quiet click instead of a buzz). Also, there is an LED on the back of the PCB but it isn't mentioned in the instructions and doesn't do anything (at least not so far). Aside from these issues, which will hopefully be addressed, it's an excellent kit.

Nice quality, plenty of light for a small torch, the three levels are pretty good, and it even has mode memory. Metal clip supplied is also quite good compared to many cheap torches.

As usual, bangood ships kits with ICs that are not pressed into foam, so the IC arrives with bent leads. Apart from that, the rest looks ok, but be aware if you buy this, you will probably have to straighten the IC leads, or maybe replace the IC if the damage is bad enough. Of the 20 kits I bought, I had to replace 2 ICs.

These are quite reasonable junction boxes with clamping cord seals and an o-ring in the lid for waterproofing, so they should be pretty much water tight. Good for general wiring etc, and the included 3-way terminal block is handy.

Can't say much about this, it's a funnel, but the nozzle is crimped into the bowl of the funnel, not soldered, so it should be robust.
