Work great! Lots of power and they do not get very hot. Be very careful how long your screw is as the bottom wires are very close to the mounting plate and, can be damaged if you are not careful.

tested it with a water cooling loop. Absolutely useless for trying to cool water, heatsinks cannot remove enough heat to get the peltiers cool enough to chill the waterblock with moving water. on the other hand, when switched around to cool the heatsinks and heat the waterblock with a radiator in the loop. The heatsinks got very very cold, condensation built up fast and the water loop stayed around 30°C with a 240mm rad and no fans on it. Would recommend making it a double water loop, 1 waterblock for the heat, and 2 blocks for cold. Going to test that theory out myself first.

cannot cool water at all, heatsink cannot disperse enough heat and then the peltier gets heatsoaked and the cold side then gets hot. however, if you use it to cool the heatsink and waterblock gets rid of heat, it cools the air very nicely! not what I was hoping for but, will find a use for it.

Q: Is this, like most thermoelectric systems, able to make the water either hot, or cold, depending on the polarity of the supplied power?

BG111516383 yes it can make water hot. there are other models that have water blocks for the cooling and heating side.
