BG234817393 I don't believe it will the receiver for the Wltoys 144001 is a 3-in-1 combo so you'd need a different servo, receiver, and controller. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Q: Since this has an upgraded battery included, is it premodified to fit the larger battery? or do we still need to modify it ourselves?

PeterBavaria You must change the position of the battery holder in the car to the larger position. You also must buy a 30cm battery strap to secure the larger battery - the included one is too short.

Q: Is it compatible with WLToys 144001?

Mitchi you can use this for the wltoys 144001 but as it got 2in1 receiver and ESC, you will have to install a separate ESC to make it work. you can not just switch the remote.

Rob1970 I use Birchwood Casey perma blue paste on all my metal tank tracks. You brush it on, leave it for a few minutes and then rinse it off with water. This turns your metal tracks a dark brown, blue-black, depending on how many times you repeat the process

The fastest stock RC you can buy under PhP5,000 or $100 USD. Tried Lipo 3s 35C 2200mah and it operates well with its ESC 60A and 550 Brushed motor. But for a beginner like me, I don't recommend going straight to Lipo 3s immediately. It takes skills to control. I ran into a moving vehicle in my first try because it was too fast for me. Thankfully, it could be repaired. A great hobby grade car for starters though. It controls really well with its sticky wheels. Excellent grip. Be wise in choosing your aftermarket battery. My Lipo 3s 35C 2200mah barely fits even after removing the sideskirts (3.55x10.9x2.28). Make sure to tighten up all screws and bolts before you start bashing. Received the package Two Weeks after placing the order. Awesome RC Car! A must have for hobbyists.
