Mikeinnc I am not using these currently (they didn't fit the physical profile I needed) but when I was testing them - with a sonoff RF bridge - I found that they had the range I would have required. And - this is in a two story solid brick house!. They certainly did NOT require LOS. They suffer, as do *all* RF devices from a range that can be limited by external factors, but generally I would say they are adequate for non-critical domestic use.

Mikeinnc Yes, mine too. Delivered October 2020 - old bootloader. It does say 'improved version' - does this mean new bootloader is installed?

Mikeinnc The camera lens is 14mm diameter (or 0.55 inch if you use old fashioned measurements......). That's without the plastic lens cover which I assume you wouldn't use in a peep-hole.

Mikeinnc I'd call it the ' flexible camera bus cable'.

Mikeinnc There is no tamper switch mounted on the PCB, although it appears there are mounting PTH holes to mount one. The holes are in a 'square' formation - 5mm between hole centres. I would think 'GeekcreitMini Micro Momentary Tactile Touch Switch Push Button DIP P4 Normally Open' (ID: 917570 ) would probably fit, although may need to adapt for the hole in the back cover?

Mikeinnc Your question seems illogical. This IS a wireless wall switch - it is designed to work in conjunction with a normal on-off light switch; installed in the wall box that supports the normal switch, and uses wifi transmissions via your home wireless network to allow it to be operated (and programmed) remotely. When flashed with the readily available 'Tasmota' software, it becomes an excellent, fully functional local OR remote device. Hope that helps?
