Nice kit to build. The only difficult part was soldering the COB board, as in my kit, the pads on the main pcb were slightly short, so one had to use sufficient solder to "bridge the gap". The end result looks good. Possible improvements: -Make the cob pads longer - Re print the front panel so that Month has the final "h" ;)

A reasonable quality variable PSU. The wires in the power lead are perhaps a little thinner than I might want, but they seem ok for the task.

oldflier Mine only included the two-pin power cable and the board. No battery, or other connectors/cables.

This is a sturdy bracket for the nibbler. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit all styles of drill - it fits an old Black & Decker one, but a newer Bosch cordless one has a sloping section around the chuck that means it isn't firmly fixed by the bracket. Worth buying, but be warned you might need a new drill!

A useful 4-digit 7-segment display. The device includes three decimal points, and one colon indicator,in addition to the 7-segment numeric points. The left-most decimal point indicator is not included. Nice and bright when driven by as low a current as 5mA per segment. The forward voltage is around 1.9V-2.1V at this current. As others have noted, a few displays have slightly bent pins.

A good selection of small signal transistors for the project box. The one minor minus point was the stock label stuck over the printed list of parts, so I'll need to print out and attach a new one - but for the price, this is hardly a major problem.
