Measurements: At minimum voltage, no load, displays 3.92, measured 3.89 At maximum voltage, no load, displays 12.3, measured 12.22 At minimum voltage, 5A load, displays 3.42, measured 2.83 At maximum voltage, 5A load, displays 12.2, measured 11.52 So, can do the 5 amp promised, too bad it won't go down to 3V as promised thus cannot be used for 3.3 V devices, which would be a common need for me:( The cable gets warm at 5A, no enough copper for continuous high amp use but ~15 mins should be fine. The supply itself doesn't heat that quickly, but dunno how hot the internal parts get, probably can keep up with the thin-ish wires. Thin wires probably explain the voltage drop between the display and reality at high amps. The adjustment pot hasn't been selected properly, as it gives full voltage at half the range and at the lower voltage ends tiny pot changes vary the voltage a lot->cannot be accurately altered (well, with the 3-4 V range missing this might not be that much of a problem). With a more suitable pot also the lower range might be available. The stock pot has also a power switch, haven't measured if that is a real AC circuit breaker or what, wouldn't guarantee it won't suck power or be safe when turned "off", thus I wouldn't leave it continuously plugged in at "off" either. The case seems glued or welded so not easy to change the pot (or cable). Guess the pot isn't very high quality so your mileage may vary, with a better sample you might even get the full range. With thicker wires and a more suitable adjustment potentiometer (if that was enough to fix the range and adjustability issues) I'd give 5 stars easy, now it just doesn't fullfill the specs and usability requirements. Still a useful and versatile supply for many needs.

lmgava To my understanding the manual in Chinese talks about 0.5W nominal and 1W not sustained, but the resistors inside are 0.25 W SMD type 3216.I wouldn't go above 0.25 W.

BG917393211 Thebattery lasts for one year or more, you can check the level of the battery in the app. When you see the LOW warning you have to replace it

le_sage pour ma part la led reste allumée dès que le chargeur est branché au secteur pour pouvoir trouver l'embout dans le noir et non un indicateur de charge pour avertir que l'appareil est chargé

tjheikki Tryreversing the plug. Only one side is cut by the relay and you're apparently cutting the neutral side and the lights are low power enough to dimly lit with the AC live line and whatever capacitance and inductance there might be in the circuit. Haven't actually opened this 15A one enough yet to see the relay or whatever cutting power but would guess there is a relay like in the 10A one, and a relay really does cut all the power (of the one line it happens to be connected to).

tjheikki Can be flashed with Tasmota or something to do anything a programmable device can. For that need an USB UART, some wire and reading the firmware's documentation. In Tasmota, the command "SwitchMode 13" makes the button turn relay on until delay and "PulseTime 50" sets the timer to 5.0 seconds.

Q: this is ok for 12428

Asked by bangmalinda on 2019-09-21 09:12:24

tjheikki Excellent for 12428 - just the right size more diameter, much wider to allow faster turns and less sticking to branches, rounder "corners" also help avoiding tripping over. Very sturdy, have taken 3S brushless torque without problems. Need some washers in front hubs or extenders, washers have been working fine for me.

Q: posso transformar o inversor de 50 hz para 60 hz ?

Asked by Eduvaldo on 2018-12-04 09:11:13

tjheikki Atleast no obvious way to change frequency, there is only one button for choosing display mode. May or may not be possible to change easy inside, haven't opened yet (even if I tend to lose screws of devices with other packing material:).

tjheikki Apparently it is only a battery powered dimmer controller, not connected to mains power thus not requiring such certifications. This question would be relevant to the actual dimmer part (if mains powered instead of low voltage DC), I'd expect to find a CE (China Export) sign there:)
