Q: Does the MGRC 1/*****.4G 4CH 2WD Crawler have proportional steering and throttle?

basgood NO proportional streering or throttle.

basgood It has 3 wires in the connector, as shown in the pictures. The Red is +5V, black = GND. The white is digital signal wire. You will need a controller or program something with a arduino or something else that is able to send the right digital signal to have each led light up is the desired color.

Q: This can't be powered by batteries at all?

basgood The leds use too much power for batteries, you would be replacing batteries every few days! Or use some car battery with a 12v to 5V converter:-)

masato When obtaining voltage directly from the battery, it naturally becomes hot when the voltage is high, but if you are flying, the heat is no problem because it is cold by the wind. If you are concerned about heat, you should get power from FC etc
