Treblig To get 12V 3A (36W) with a 5V input require over 7A (actually somewhere between 8 and 9A to cater for the module efficiency). If you plug the module in a regular USB socket that supplies between 500mA (PC USB socket) to 2A (on some power banks) you'll never get the required 12V 3A.
