Q: what are the frequency range of the walkie talkie in MHz?

nasukaren This doesn't have a separate analog FM radio (ham radio, GMRS, CB, etc). It's only 2G/3G/LTE cell phone. It only looks like a walky-talky.

Works well to charge my Baofeng UV-5R. It's part of my emergency kit in case a natural disaster hits, need to make sure I can still communicate.

I have this on my keychain and it's the perfect size for that job. Just enough light to find things underneath the car seat or at a movie theatre. Rechargeable through microusb. I can't tell if it's authentic or not, but it seems authentic enough for me.

This is a great little HT that operates on the 2m and 70cm bands. The price is the other incredible thing. The kit that BG sells here is rather barebones - you get one antenna, desktop charger, and an 1800 mAh battery. Other kits include the programming cable or a headset -- but to be honest, it's better to get those separately. One thing to buy would be a USB charging cable - especially if you're a prepper. At some point, it's handy to get the programming cable (which you can get on BG) and download the free CHIRP. This will make it easier to program the HT. And please do get your ham license, it's only $15 and the 35 question test is ridiculously easy in the USA if you download some of the free testing apps on the various app stores.

Works on my Mac Book Pro with OSX 11.3 to program my Baofeng UV-5R with CHIRP. The cable is not recognized by the OSX drivers so you have to download the driver from the web. I got this belt for my everyday jeans. First, it's very well built with a really solid buckle. The webbing is so wide and the buckle is so large so you'll have to take the buckle off to thread it through the belt loops. Then you can reassemble. If you don't change your belts often, then it's fine since you can just leave your belt on all the time. If you do change your belts often, this'll be a big pain to do and undo. The buckle seems absolutely bombproof. I wish it didn't have the manufacturer's logo on it and was just plain. I haven't tried taking the logo off. All in all, very satisfied for what I got for the price.
