Cliffy yes- a 2 cell 7.4v lion, but you would need to upgrade the receiver control board inside the vehicle

Nice, compact and well made RC truck. Weighs in at just under 900grams (with battery) and feels a good weight for it's compact size. Very good detailing and runs well. It does lack a bit of torgue compared to the MN99S and Fayee FY003-1 but it excels in wheel speed. I found that it does have a drag brake which the MN99S does not have. Tyres are average in softness but lack depth so I have changed the wheels and tyres for thicker/softer ones to improve it's ground clearance and grip. Go for the MN99s type tyres (or similar lookalikes) as they have good depth and are soft. Overall, i am very pleased with it and glad i bought it. 4 stars given due to a slight lack of torgue, otherwise, great and very good value for money.

Nice, compact and well made RC truck. Weighs in at just under 900grams (with battery) and feels a good weight for it's compact size. Very good detailing and runs well. Very good motors which are better in performance and quality than WPL 180 motors. I have put these in JJRC Q65 which is best fitted with a wpl b36 gearbox and in a WPL B36 truck. My WPL B36 180 motor failed after only using it for a total of half an hour over two sessions in the garden, which was very disappointing on a brand new truck!. These are much better value for money than WPL. When fitting to a WPL vehicle check the direction of the wheels first, as i had to reverse the motor wires to get the motor to run in the same direction as WPL, which itself, is an easy thing to do.

Well what can i say, like everyone else on youtube, very pleased with the specification and detailing. However, not please with the WPL 180 motor as my one failed after only two 10-15 minute sessions in the garden. I Expect the WPL 180 motors to be a lot more durable than that!. I replaced the motor with a Fayee 180 motor which is a good fit and it does run a bit better, and hopefully will be a lot more durable than the basic cheap WPL 180 motor. I did find the rear suspension to be a bit soft as it did bottom out to easily when going over uneven ground, and so i personally would prefer for it to be a bit firmer. However, in my discussions with a youtube reviewer 'Fonzie RC' - he told me he likes the suspension the way it is, so probably down to personal preferences and/or what type of ground you are running it on. I gave it 4 stars because of the motor failure, which should not happen on a brand new rc truck., otherwise, it would have got 5 stars.

Great little RC vehicle which is very good fun to run. I have not tried the metal tracks as yet, so cannot comment on whether they are better than the rubber ones and/or which surfaces they perform better on, if any. I do have metal trtracks on my rc tanks which do not give a lot of grip, so i would assume that the rubber ones are likely to be better for grip and will also be quieter than the metal ones. The front does lift of the ground so you will need to add some weight to the front to get it to level out and perform better. I used some cut strips of old builders lead flashings as counter weights hot glued together, but you can also use blutak. I am very pleased with the quality of the product and it does represent good value for money.
