Q: Will this laser cut jigsaw puzzles?

Vynylkiller I have seen work on Facebook where people have cut out jig saws but as yet still trying to get to grips with cutting materials, sometimes the settings I use will cut 3mm ply other times it does not, different types of ply seem to need different cut settings

BG193251435 Yes you can but it takes about 30 passes to cut through 2mm ply

Vynylkiller I am using 12.5mm plywood for it to sit on the laser will not burn through that

Vynylkiller As yet I’m experimenting with the machine, you have to set the laser power and speeds and how many passes the laser must make so far all I have managed is to cut through all the way is card, it engraves well on 5mm plywood but have not been able to cut through It even with 25 passes. It barely makes an impact on black Perspex but once again I may not have the correct settings ie speed power etc apparently the slower the laser moves it will cut through the medium hope this helps
