Anth With most common motors the connection of the black leads has only two possibilities no matter which way you connect them. It will either spin the motor clockwise or anti-clockwise. Most people reference the spin direction from looking at the plane from the front. So to start you need to look at your prop and work out which way you prop needs to spin to push air to the back of the plane. Then you connect up the three black wires in any order and start the motor slowly. If the propeller is turning in the wrong direction simply stop the motor and reverse any two of the black leads and you are done. If the prop spins in the correct direction first up you are also done.
