juledude This is not a diy kit. It is a complete working keyboard. I am sure solder was used in the manufacturing of this product. Very robust, very fast and fun keyboard.

juledude No. I do not see any method to lock the Windows key. Possibly it is something I am not aware of, but I see no Windows key lock.

juledude No. FN is a momentary key.

Q: Does a motor not the b2043 will fit?

juledude No. The listed motor has shafts coming out the back of the motor. This allows the motor to be installed internally (backwards). I could find no other motor that allows backwards installation.

juledude Been a while since I built this, but I don't remember any difficulties with the manual. Unfortunately I only speak English. I think the clock came with a schematic. It was fun and easy to build. It's still running and it has been years.

juledude Yes. Windows 10 here. I just yanked out the old PS-2 keyboard and plugged this into a USB port. All is well. I didn't even turn the power to the computer off. It is really pretty fun.
