Jaymo If the PSU is regulated, no problems, the cap is a problem if your PSU is out of range and supplies more than 24v, a 50v cap of the same capacitance would be a better choice in that case.

Jaymo Without batteries there is no point using this device, it's primary use is to supply solar generated power or grid generated power to batteries for use when needed, either being off-grid or for blackout backup power supply.

Jaymo Others have said that it mirrors well with Android, so it will mirror and replicate both what is on the phones screen and what the phones audio is producing.

Jaymo I have one, no display and the batteries go flat very quickly and were drained way below 2v, I have 2 new panasonic 3.7a batteries that have been tested with a RV charger and held average 3.5 amps and did not last a day, the camera makes a .txt file with a default date, I'm testing to see if that document can be edited to the current date+time and setting up a solar based power input, it will run directly off the USB input with no batteries installed, I have several options, my best option is a 18v power tool battery and a USB output charger that runs on any current up to 30v ... have 2 others coming for security for my property, they were cheaper and hopefully better, they don't have a screen either.
