Q: Can you disable vtx on this fc?

Asked by Alexa on 2018-09-01 18:06:12

Gaz Unfortunately there is no PitMode on this VTX, which is an oversight in my opinion. If you have a VTX and FC combo you need pitmode so it doesn't get hot while plugged into USB. I just put my VTX on 25mw and put the antenna on and I havent had any issues with overheating yet.

Gaz when plugged into USB try turning power down to 25mw and dont leave it plugged in for too long. Also make sure your antenna is attached. If it is not attached it will get hotter. Heat is not a concern in flight and There will be a warning on your OSD if the temperature goes above 80 degrees celcius.
