Q: Should the INAV version be OMNIBUSF4PRO? It seems to work as I just kept laoding Omnibus versions until seemed to work??

TrevorBrasch Correct, firmware 1.8.0 and higher (it won't work with 1.7.3 or lower)

Q: Can't get FRSKY XSR SBUS receiver working. Have used RX6 as suggested and bound receiver. Set SBUS , RX on UART6 etc but no reponse on receiver tab. Are there a pad I need to solder to use SBUS?

TrevorBrasch If you are using Betaflight, it should work. Be sure to select Serial Rx in "ports" for UART 6, then Serial/Spektrum/Sat/S.Bus in "Configuration" tab, and s.bus immediately below it. You might have repeat and be sure to save between each step. If you want to use iNav, you will have to flash 1.8.0 and you will have to solder to a special pin on the Rx to get an uninverted s.bus signal.....inav firmware isn't directing hardware inversion to work..
