Q: what is the difference in between the model A or B

Asked by JohnnyDRC on 2024-02-20 13:55:22

Hobbyboy one is a kit, which you would need to supply all the electronics. Motor, esc, servos, and fpv system. This would be labeled as a kit. The other option is the PnP, which stands for plug and play. This has the motor, esc, servos already mounted possibly. you would need to add in the fpv system and a reciever of your choice.

Q: Will pontoon floats be available?

Asked by NorthbySouth on 2024-03-10 12:09:59

Hobbyboy it would need to be modified to except floats. I was wondering the samething. UMX floats may work, but you would need the rear mount or fab something.

Hobbyboy First off, if you want to upgrade the motor on the K989. You will need to purchase the aluminum upgrade motor mount. The one that's inside the k989 will not or can not be easily removed. it's made out of hard plastic or 3D printed. Whatever it's made of you can not remove the motor without totally destroying it. I found out the hard way and got really upset at this design flaw. I haven't see any replacements either. be aware!
