Pros: - Brightest mode is sufficiently bright when it needs to bright - Dimmest mode with red light is sufficiently bright for things like eating and talking at a campsite where fires are not allowed. - Dimmest mode is dim so not to blind you when you need to find something in the dark after getting up. - Magnetic bottom is sufficient to support it's own weight on iron/steel surfaces/ Cons: - none that I have found Other notes (neither pro or con): - It is way smaller than any other battery powered lantern I have seen.
