This "altimeter" works perfect for my needs (flying thermals)! Anyway I think it is important to know that this device does not send altitude to the Tx but atmospheric pressure and temperature instead. You need a Tx that calculates the altitude based on these two parameters. So I updated my FlySkyI6 firmware using this release https://github.com/qba667/FlySkyI6/releases/tag/1.7.6 Now my transmitter calculates and shows altitude on the screen and gives a basic sound feedback to let you know if the plain is gaining or loosing altitude. This firmware upgrade gives you many other cool features, like timer alarm, 14 channels instead of the original 6, etc
This is a must-have item no.1 if you fly gliders and use FlySky Tx and Rx. Works without problems I just plugged it into the Rx FS-i6B iBus connector then found and turned on the sensor in the Tx settings. Now shows the height of the glider on the Tx screen. Remember to calibrate the pressure in the Tx settings to show your real height because there is only a pressure sensor and nothing more. Now I need to upgrade the Tx firmware to FlyPlus so that that sensor will works like a full-fledged variometer with an audible signal as it does when flying with a glider.
Since there are no instructions on how to install this unit it take awhile to figure out how to make it work. I was only able to get it to work with the FlySky FS-i6X transmitter and FS-iA6B. However once it is installed and working it provides an excellent method of tracking the altitude of a model.
Arrived all in order! Took 10 days from CN to CH by TNT.
Received in perfect packaging.
It's working, thank you.
I have connected the sensor to the FS-i6AB receiver, it has also been detected. Whether it shows the exact height is yet to be seen.

Since the function is given with radiomaster TX16S, I ordered a second height sensor
Works well
