This "altimeter" works perfect for my needs (flying thermals)! Anyway I think it is important to know that this device does not send altitude to the Tx but atmospheric pressure and temperature instead. You need a Tx that calculates the altitude based on these two parameters. So I updated my FlySkyI6 firmware using this release https://github.com/qba667/FlySkyI6/releases/tag/1.7.6 Now my transmitter calculates and shows altitude on the screen and gives a basic sound feedback to let you know if the plain is gaining or loosing altitude. This firmware upgrade gives you many other cool features, like timer alarm, 14 channels instead of the original 6, etc

This is a must-have item no.1 if you fly gliders and use FlySky Tx and Rx. Works without problems I just plugged it into the Rx FS-i6B iBus connector then found and turned on the sensor in the Tx settings. Now shows the height of the glider on the Tx screen. Remember to calibrate the pressure in the Tx settings to show your real height because there is only a pressure sensor and nothing more. Since there are no instructions on how to install this unit it take awhile to figure out how to make it work. I was only able to get it to work with the FlySky FS-i6X transmitter and FS-iA6B. However once it is installed and working it provides an excellent method of tracking the altitude of a model.

I have connected the sensor to the FS-i6AB receiver, it has also been detected. Whether it shows the exact height is yet to be seen.

Habe den Sensor am FS-i6AB Empfänger angeschlossen, er wurde auch erkannt. Ob er die Höhe genau Anzeigt, wird sich erst noch zeigen.
