Documentation is pretty bad. A USB to USB cable is provided with the device. DO NOT PLUG THE USB-USB CABLE IN WHEN DEVICE IS POWERED BY AC. That connection with both the Computer and the device powered blew up my computer's USB3 card's power regulation system. Another issue is the motion sensing function does not appear to work. The device just continues to record video forever. There is a two position switch wich the doc "seems" to indicate controls if the motion sensing function is active, but it has no apparent effect upon operation. That said, the video is not bad. (Did I mention the doc was nearly useless?)

  • Daveo0o Update: Motion sensing function is working! I am guessing that the switch was not entirely in position? Anyway, that part works. I checked the power output of the USB ports. Above about 0.5 Amp load on either port causes the USB port's output voltage to fail. It drops from ~5V down below 3V at .6A, then continues going down from there with increased load. Both outputs act the same. The camera stops recording under those conditions as well.
