Q: Will it provide 72w at 12v ? meaning that it will provide 6 amps at 12v? or is it limited to 3 amps regardless of voltage?

Victus Yep, according to the specifications, this has maximum output amperage of 3Amps. If you need a higher output amperage, this probably is not enough to drive your device.
