There isn't much to the kit. The generator is already assembled. It will be neat to try to use it to power something small or charge a battery.

It was just the kit, no schematic, no parts list. The case was broken in the packaging. The IC had half the pins folded under in the foam it was attached to. It did not work when I assembled it, and without a schematic, it makes it hard to troubleshoot.

If you are going to build one of the component testers, do yourself a favor and get the case as well. The component clip with the kit will not be used, so you won't have to desolder it. This case looks good, works good, and has banana jacks for your clip leads.

Just starting a hobby of repairing old radios and wanted a capacitor and resistor tester. This thing works great, and can tell what the part is just by plugging it in and hitting the test button. It was easy to assemble and worked right the first time.. I just wish I had bought the one in the case.
