Ernost hi if printing a photo , I modify the pic with GIMP or photoshop first . painting over the unwanted lines , or cropping the lines out if they are on edges .

Ernost For letters or words , yes , there is a "stencil" font if you type letters directly from the app. Works well on paper. Double click for the list of fonts

Ernost Yes. Although the image will be less sharp and fore shortened as the mug curves away. A lot of image manipulation before engraving could possibly mitigate this.
