onefrozenman I mount the camera under cover of a soffit. You can put them everywhere, my only concern is moisture. No moisture no problem.

Q: what is the model you are selling? 0s, 10S or 20S?

Kenny It just comes on and you use it for however long you like. Their graphic is just showing, that some bacteria is there (0 seconds), some is killed in 10 seconds and all of it in 20 seconds.

I've used this for several months now and I'm very pleased. I recommend also getting an RFID tag like this one. https://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-125kHz-RFID-Proximity-ID-Token-Tag-Key-Keyfobs-For-Access-System-p-32266.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN Put the tag on the bottom right of the alarm and it instantly toggles between arm/disarm. The motion sensor works fantastic. I've tried and I cannot trick it. The remote control has a very long range. I can arm/disarm from my garage or driveway. Take the alarm off the mount, and the phone sounds immediately. There are a few things I'd like improved. Maybe it's just my model phone (Galaxy S6), but to connect with the app, I have to turn WiFi off and on for the app to work. I do not have any problems with WiFi on my phone and if not on Wi-Fi, I have to turn airplane mode on and off. The good news is, my phone alarms regardless when triggered. The battery life is not very long. The instructions are not as clear as I would like, but that is quite common for electronics from China. Suppose you have the settings of the alarm to be active after a 60 second delay to allow you to get out of your house. If you forget to arm your alarm, use the app to set the alarm and tell it to turn on instantly, that is not a onetime instance. Until you reset it to be a minute again, setting the alarm at the base is now an instant on. That can be, dare I say, alarming. The jacks for the power and an external speaker are on the side. I would have preferred to have the jacks in the back so the wires could be hidden in the wall. To do this however, I suspect the alarm would need to be thicker. Other than the cables out the side, it looks great. Sometimes there is a minute or so delay before the phone is alarmed after the alarm sounds.

Kenny Youjust need the right driver and software. There are some other microscopes on the site that have links to the software.

Q: How can I get DC5V to power the alarm from a 220V AC plug ?

Asked by arp22 on 2018-01-09 04:31:23

Kenny It uses the same current as a USB port (5V 1 amp). It comes with the cable, but not an AC adapter. So any power adapter that converts 220 to a USB jack will work for you. There are several 110 AC to USB port adapters. One of those and a 220 to 110 adapter would work as well.
