Deegeetee Buy the version with the FlySky receiver & it'll be compatible with any FlySky or Turnigy transmitter, running either Protocol: AFHDS and AFHDS-2A (Switchable between both protocols). It will give you either 8 or 14 channels, as follows: Channels: 8ch(AFHDS) or 14ch(AFHDS-2A) I would imagine that it's also compatible with most goggles.

Q: Does it use ailerons?

Asked by BG471416232 on 2020-07-27 06:39:56

Deegeetee Yes it does but the servos are built into the inside of the fuselage, with an external control arm on each side of the fuselage, which locates into a bracket on the end of each aileron when the wings are plugged in.

Q: Mode 1 ou 2 ?

Asked by ventilo76 on 2019-09-17 01:17:32

Deegeetee This transmitter comes in Mode 2 but can easily be switched to mode 1. On the back of the transmitter, you will find two small rubber inserts, which should have screws undernweath to change the set up from Mode 2 to Mode 1 or visa versa. There are also videos on YouTube that shows the process, which is extremely simple. In fact it\'s no more than tightening two screws and loosening two on the opposite side of the transmitter back. Just search YouTube for HOW TO: Change XK Transmitter from Mode 2 to Mode 1 (it\'s an x6 transmitter but the process is the same for this transmitter (X8)

Deegeetee If your new transmitter uses the AFHDS 2A protocol, as you say, then this receiver will work with it. It will not work with the original Turnigy 9x, which uses AFHDS only
