Q: What is the true maximum range of inductance measurement on the instrument? Not just by specification.

marcovansteen The display can show tens of 'kH', but such readings are unreliable. The manual seems to imply a 0.4% accuracy for inductance up to 1590H, at 100 Hz and 1V.

It's hard to get more measurement pleasure out of your money. The docs are in Chinenglish. Lots of features. The internal build does not look bad. Ask for the SCPI manual and you can automate the acquisition. The software needs an update but one can write his own.

Q: What is difference between the ET44 and ET45 LCR meter

marcovansteen Aliayis correct, he means ET45 series. Using USB and a PC you could do a frequency sweep on ET45 series.
