Q: The mains lead is only 2 core: (no earth wire). Is this machine DOUBLE INSULATED?

Arrived well wrapped: Tester sealed inside a plastic sheath, then rolled several times in strong foam sheet, then sealed in the usual black polyethylene outer wrapper. Inside the battery compartment - no battery (needs the usual PP3 9V) but there was a ZIF adapter which makes pushing the device legs in very easy. To test you just push the legs in the numbered holes and press the test button... After a few seconds the screen gives you some information (see photos) then counts down from 40 seconds to 'off'. You can press OFF if you are impatient. It failed to recognise voltage regulators (That's the screen showing: "No, Unknow, or damaged"), but otherwise you can see it gives some useful information. Apart from the on screen spelling mistake (Unknow) and the peculiar white lines in the display, it appears to be well made. And of course, it worked as soon as a battery was in place. Very easy to use.

Good package, and works nice, thanks. User manual in ENGLISH !!!!!! I appreciate this effort from manufacturer side!!! (see Fig.1). The hottest part in my computer is power supply exhaust (see Fig.2). The temperature in crossfire area is indicated in upper right corner of LCD (Fig. 3a), and my fingers are only 30 C degree (Fig. 3b). Soldering-iron temperature measured with thermocouple and indicated on this IR camera are almost the same (Fig. 4a and Fig. 4b).
