Q: How many A DC it can take ?

Asked by amerkhafagi on 2022-02-20 05:20:56

bang_but_good It is in the name, plugs with the name starting with XT90 can safely take a continuous load of 90 amps, and for example plugs starting with XT60 can safely take a continuous load of 60 amps, and XT30 can safely take a continuous load of 30 amps, etc...

pendersricardo Ifyou leave it running long enough you will burn yourself even with only 1A, the first time that you turn it on you'll smell that it's cooking pretty fast, DO NOT TOUCH IT after having it running longer than 5 minutes maybe even less. Don't listen to what the others said, my answer is an honest one speaking from experience with this thing myself.

davidgilson I don't know for sure as I don't make this, but I believe it does have balance connections. B-=0V, B1=4.2V, B2=8.4V, B+=12.6V.

Q: Can you give this ESP*****v on VCC or will that blow up the chip?

Asked by bang_but_good on 2019-06-15 08:51:19

Damo_the_Sane Do not use 5V directly on the ESP-01, it will blow it up. It needs 3.3V.

bang_but_good No, TL-Smoothers are not useful with a SKR Mini E3 V1.2 board already equipped with TMC2209 (or equivalent) Trinamic stepper drivers. EXPLANATION: The SKR Mini E3 V1.2 uses on-board TMC2209 (or equivalent) Trinamic stepper drivers, TL-Smoothers provide electrical dampening (albeit somewhat crude) of the recirculating motor coil current to prevent various vibration artifacts such as ringing, shadowing, ghosting and rippling. Your board has onboard Trinamic stepper drivers. Trinamic stepper drivers actively measure and adjust motor coil current to achieve optimal electrical dampening, this automatically makes the stepper motors run quieter and mitigates the aforementioned vibration artifacts. For additional (and a more technical) explanation see this website (replace all underscores with a normal slash): blog.trinamic.com_2018_08_16_tl-smoothers-do-they-make-sense By the way, you could have easily found all this if you had spent a little time Googling the answer :)

Q: What is "CCT" (RGB-CCT)??

Asked by frankgegna on 2020-02-02 03:35:06

bang_but_good CCT, or Configurable Color Temperature, means the LEDs inside the bulb are capable of emitting white light anywhere from Cold White to Neutral White and up to Warm White. So basically the color temperature of the LED bulb supports a Configurable Color Temperature, CCT, as it is capable of producing the entirety of the commonly available spectrum of white light. (from ~2500K to ~6500K)

bang_but_good OnRFXcom you need firmware Ext1 to enable reception of the protocol used by these devices. Then you need to use RFXmngr to enable the "Rubicson, Alecto,Banggood" protocol (and ONLY that protocol, unless you need specific other protocols, if you do then you can enable those too). Then click "Set Mode" and "Save Settings" to commit the settings to the RFXcom device memory. You can download the Ext1 firmware and the RFXmngr software from the RFXcom website downloads section. If you need extra information just read the RFXcom manual (also in downloads section). All the information you need is in there, that is where I got it from :)
