This plane is indestructible. I've crashed it over 20 times - the worst of which was when it hit a concrete wall, tumbled over it and almost flew into the sea. I just had to wipe it down before the next flight. I've also crashed it straight into the ground at 30mph+. I only had to reconnect the esc and then I could fly it again. It's the perfect plane for a first time flyer. Although a lot of people recommend a bixler (or skysurfer), this plane is much more durable. Batteries are cheap for it too. A 2200mah lipo 10-20C only costs £10.

I like the way they have 14 magnets inside, instead of three usual 12; it makes them so much smoother than normal. The quality is also excellent. The windings are neat and the bearings aren't notchy at all I'll definitely buy some of the 6s versions and make a super fast beast!

A very light frame! I particularly like how the top plate extends over the entire drone - it protects the electrical components much more. The carbon doesn't seem quite as strong as the more expensive frames, but it's still very good. I'd definitely use this frame again.

this is the first pre built drone that I bought. it's all put together well, but here's what I've learnt: 1). some of these drones have the wrong vtx settings loaded into betaflight. before your first flight, do a small range check on the fpv feed. if you don't get much distance, reload the vtx table for a mini forward vtx. the vtx was changed at some point to a more powerful one, but the software was never updated. 2). the performance is incredible. this drone is more agile, accelerates faster, and had a longer flight time than my 5 inch (more on this later). in fact, this drone has put me off flying 5 inch drones altogether. I tend to only fly 3 inch drones now. 3). I get 6 minutes of flight time on an 850mah 4s battery. why is no one taking about this??? I'm not flying slowly either; I'm going flips and rolls and gunning it the entire time. my 5 inch only gets 3 minutes and it's slower. 4). the camera is fantastic. I can't go back to any other camera now 5). the only setting that has been changed in the pids is the p yaw value (other settings like anti gravity have been changed, so make a note of those numbers in case you lose them). this means that you can still need with the PID values of you want. this is a great drone for both beginners and experts. it really surprised me with how capable it is. I've already ordered another frame to make my own one.

if you're on this page, you've probably used them already. you can use these in sbus setup (which is how i've used them in the past) or you can flash different firmware from the frsky website and use fport. I'm using fport now, and the telemetry is so useful! also, I had a drone explode into a big fireball and only the rxsr receiver survived. I suppose that tells you something about it's durability. I have about 10 in a box somewhere. they're great receivers.

I used to use a very cheap £10 soldering iron and I wondered why I couldn't get a good join. this soldering iron has made things much easier! I can solder at a lower heat, and the job is much shinier (for some reason). I also like the on/off button so I don't need to unplug it inbetween preparing the wire. the digital temperature display is handy too.

I have about 4 mamba f7 boards in different drones. they are all great quality and work very well. this one is different though. it has more features than normal! it has a usb-c port instead of a micro usb. this means that I can use my mobile phone cable to access my drone in the field. it also has a wireless function, but I haven't used that yet. this would be my go-to stack for 5 inch drones.

These models are so good that I have two now. They're absolutely indestructible and easy to fly. I'm only a beginner and, despite numerous crashes, I haven't had to send one to the scrapheap.

they fit my hglrc arrow. the arrow originally came with 3052 propellers, but these 3050 propellers are much cheaper. I'd like it if I could buy a single colour rather than a mixed bag. I like the yellow ones the most.

As a newbie, I wouldn't consider flying a plane without Kopilot. It doesn't weight much, it's easy to set up and there's a lot of fun deciding where to put the GPS on the aircraft. It works flawlessly. So far i've bought two. As a note: if you buy Kopilot with the VC400 camera, it's £10 cheaper than if you bought Kopilot and the VC400 camera separately.

although the jury is still out on whether soft mounting is necessary, I always soft mount my motors. I think that anything that reduces vibration to the flight controller can only be a good thing. these are much more professional than pvc tape. highly recommended!

they work fantastically on the babyhawk r pro 2.5. they're also really durable; I've crashed into bushes and trees and the propellers are still unscathed.

By far one of the best 5 inch frames. it's very light (Andyrc used it in a hyperlite build) and it's also very strong; I've dropped mine onto concrete from 10m, and only a bolt needed replacing. The arms were fine.

mine is living happily in my drone. it's a good product, but it does get hot easily as others have mentioned. The MMCX connector on it is awful though - put some strong plastic glue around the connector or it will break in your first or second crash (i used epoxy to strengthen the connector, then coated it in normal glue, see pics).
