Bought it to sound the alarm elsewhere in a large building via a compatible 433mhz 1527 receiver not the Sonos bridge. Worked first time as expected.

BG530332320 Remove the two small screws, and then the white part round the battery. Then remove the round printed circuit board, and slide the battery out . A bit fidly, but I'd expect the battery to last 2/3 years.

Not tested. I bought this item because I thought it would be easy to replace rhe batterry when need, but it is not. The top part os easy to remove, but the battery is not. I am still looking for some item with a more adequat replaceable battery.
