Q: What is RT6 pad for?

Asked by BG517811103 on 2021-12-17 09:05:58

schuarch This pad can be configured as soft serial in betaflight, either as RX or TX. Just use the “resource” command in the cli to check to which pin it is connected.

schuarch I used it for 2S, 3S & 4S and it’s working fine at all that voltages. It’s a great flight controller.

Q: I have a fat shark scout & flysky FX-i6 X, compatible?

Asked by BG341224473 on 2021-07-17 02:09:21

schuarch FrSky D8 built-in, you could add a FlySky receiver. But get the Version 2, has better VTX and camera (camera on this version is crap).

schuarch You can bind it to your radio, but not with the crossfire protocol but with FrSky D8 protocol via the internal multi protocol module of your radio. The range will be poor, however. You can also upgrade the Tinyhawk with a TBS crossfire nano receiver, then you can bind it to your crossfire module. This will require some soldering work, but you will start to solder anyway when advancing in this great hobby.

schuarch OK...It’s an amazing digital camera and transmission system for remotely flying FPV drones in beautiful HD quality (FPV = first person view). You also need the DJI FPV goggles for the system to work. It’s one of the most stunning things available for RC hobbyists!

Q: How to connect to individual 4 ESC, not 4in1 ESC ???

Asked by igorsldk on 2021-01-27 01:18:39

schuarch You can run the signal wires from the 4-in-1 ESC plug on the board to the individual ESCs and supply them with VBat via an extra PDB. For a more elegant solution, look for an AIO board with integrated PDB.
