jfftdrl It has a combined esc and receiver. You need to upgrade it to separate brushless esc and receiver to use a brushless motor with the K989.

jfftdrl No the receiver is built into the car's circuit board along with the proportional throttle and steering control.

Woodbeard Then the locking effect is not as desired, but should still increase the longevity, since they are hardly or not at all lubricated on the inside at the factory. I also used something like Liqui Moly LM47 at the beginning, which I only apply to the outside of the differentials. Otherwise, silicone oil 10000 cps in front and 7500 cps is recommended for buggies of this size and drives great.
