Q: Can anyone tell me what protocol to set on my TX16s to bind to this model?

KoalaDave Whatprotocol did you iuse on your TX16 to get it to bind ... I cant seem to find one that works :(

Another in the 400mm series of warbirds. If you have a TX16S or other open TX transmitter then this is for you. These little planes pack a lot into their small size. Two level gyro stabilization and you can turn it off for full control. They fly for a full ten minutes and you might stretch that to 15 but if you have more than one of these little beauties you will have interchangeable batteries (I am up to 23 batteries so far). They are mostly offered in RTF with a transmitter with the controls in the same place for the various features. Hard to go wrong with any of these as they are VERY crash friendly with props that pop off in a crash and like the batteries they are interchangeable. Three blade props come with some of them (not this one) and if you don't mind the non authentic look you can use any prop on any plane. I have landed in bushes, hit curbs (or kerbs for our British friends) without damage to prop or plane. These are really great flyers and relatively inexpensive I suggest anyone to buy the whole series and tell your friends to do the same. You can take turns being Axis or Allies and have some fun dog fights. I have no idea how these can be shipped from Hong Kong and arrive in a week or so at no charge or a couple of dollars at worst. I just hope Banggood continues to make new ones available.

yet another great little kit from Tony Ray designs. the packaging has improved a lot since the early kits, and the parts are far better cut. they still don't come with even a simple set of instructions, which is probably their biggest shortfall

I found that these were way too light in their construction for supporting my DSLR camera. - should work well with smaller instamatic type digitals though

These are great hand held monoculars. I use them for spotting at Archery at ranges upto 90m and they work just fine once you get them focused to your eyes

While it was simple to assemble the main parts, installing the wire rigging was almost impossible. Getting the balance point correct required more lead ballast than was supplied. Undercarriage is weak and could do with some better wheel design
