matias You need to buy ELRS TX and batteries separately. The drone itself has an ELRS receiver.

For the price, the drone is much better than I anticipated. Lights make it really easy to see in the dark and the drone is quite fast. Realistic flying time is around 10 minutes, which is what I expected. The video quality is good for the price; it looks like the upscaling works well and the colors are great. But the framerate is low and the video lags behind. This applies also to the recorded clips as the drone does not have a slot for the SD card. The range is fine for flying in the backyard. Brushless motors make this drone feel very powerful. There's also an altitude hold, which works well. Though the drone tends to lose some height when flying in the fastest mode, it recovers as soon as it stops. Optical flow works most of the time, but sometimes it gets confused and the drone starts drifting in a single direction (high alt) or doing circles (low). Especially, winds seem to confuse the drone. Obstacle avoidance uses infrared, which does not work too well outdoors. I don't know if placing the sensor under the drone helps, I did not try. Indoors the feature kind of works, but in practice you need a big room to use the it. You can also easily confuse the drone to not obey your commands and to hit the wall flying the drone into a corner or standing next it. Any furniture can do the same. The drone feels sturdy, but light. The controller is bulky and feels cheap. It was also missing a battery cover screw, which is needed to keep the batteries inside. Also, the carrying bag looks cheap. The drone itself has some safety features: motors stop when you turn the drone upside down. BUT it fails to land after losing connection to the controller. I waited for 75 seconds and it just kept on hovering. Worse still, it doesn't stop moving when it loses the connection. The quad is a good, cheap choice for beginners, but it is not a toy for kids to play with. The app makes it feel like a toy, though. It didn't have the features I wanted and felt like it was designed for kids.

matias@Michael Van Der Walt Wepaid about 40 (with 2 batteries). The drone is still in a good condition after 2 months of use.
