Anyone unfamiliar with Lithium Ion batteries should definitely read deeply about using them and heed all warnings and instructions about using and recharging them. You can get most value by buying NiMH rechargeable "D" size dummy cells that you put NiMH AA battery cells in. They are empty plastic shells that hold the rechargeable NiMH AA cells and cost less than the "D" size NiMH batteries. Hope this helps you.
