Q: Can I use a whip antenna or extended cable antenna for wider coverage?

Paul only if it gives the antenna a better position. (higher, less obstacles)

Paul Potentiometer is a resistor withe a value of 10kOhm or 100kOhm. Minimum volt needed is 6 to 7 volt before motor start running any pwm powersupply can drive it up to 100volt (500 watt over 100 volt is 5 amp ) so you need a 100 volt 5 amp powersource to be able to use it up to its full potential

Paul It should have, mine didn't work, someone else had same problem, factory reset and downloading latest version of softwarewhere no solution. Left it as it is for I don't use it.

Paul frequenties are from 50Mhz and higher, CB and amateur radio fequenties are different in Europe than many other countrys, so check which frequenties you want to use.

Paul@BG185341555 I use the pro, but it is in mode 2. so I don't have to switch at start-up, but to me there is no difference so I would go for the cheaper one
