rickD the cogging issue is that the motor is fast and you wanna go slow you need to lower your gearing by getting a smaller motor (pinion gear) or larger transmition gear (spur gear) and this will help with Cogging check out RCBIG&small on you tub and look at brushless traxxas stamped has same motor look in videos
