This also works with BLF A6 and Astrolux S1, but beware: 1. Memory mode will no longer work. 2. Long half-press for a step back will also not work. 3. With step-back gone, all functions related to it are gone also... (strobe, batt check, bike flasher...) Excellent discreet LED to locate the flashlight in the dark.

I bought the 10 degrees piece since I considered the S2+ too floody for my taste. Turns out that this little upgrade transforms the S2+ into an 50$+ performance flashlight. This thing focuses the lumens where they are supposed to be. Thansforms the beam of a cheap S2+ into a Nitecore P12 beam. Amazing stuff.

Q: Two different flashlights are on the picture. One is the older one and the other is the newer Type-C charging one. Which one do you get?

PoopMan I got the old one, without type C charging. Instead it uses another cable for charging.

Q: I fail too see why is this light so expensive?

rocjam this light source is known as a LEP which neans its a white lazer and has a very tight beam..no spill like other lamps

Amazing light. Really. UI has everything you need and nothing that you do not need. It's much faster to use and turn on/off than the beloved "Anduril" UI which is a useless complicated nonsense. It performs very similar to the Imalent DT35, which costs about 4.5 times more.

Excellent repack of the fabulous Sanyo NCR18650GA battery, with a properly attached button-top and a very good and consistent protection circuit. If you don't like the protection circuit, it's VERY EASY to remove since the battery is double-sleeved. Very nice pouch included, however mine came damaged with the SKU number sticker.

Golisi S26 is an unexpectedly good battery. I knew they were good, but I didn't know they were THAT good. It performs equali as the stellar Sony VTC5A, with a little different discharge dynamics. It's a true 25A constant-discharge cell and handles pretty much anything.

Q: Why does the top section of the description say the flashlight uses *****'s, but the bottom half of the description claims it uses 4??? Also, how can this light put out 6000k with those XPL-2 emitters? That makes no sense. My current one is at about 5500k tint.

LBoskovic did you mean 6000k or 6000lm? Anyway, yes, it can put out 5000-6000lm real lumens (approx 1400 per each XPL-HD led). Also, the tint is cold white, 6000 or 6500k

They are ok, they have 2000mAh and a little more. They also supply a decent amount of current sice it can drive the XHP35 and XHP50 easily on a single battery. The little weird thig is that they have a low operating voltage. You charge them to 4,2 but they drop to 3,7v when you deplete the first 200mAh from it. The, it runs on 3,7 for a loooong time and practically delivers 80% of capacity while keeping 3,70-3,55. Weird, but ok.

A definition of insanity in a single-cell size package. This is an EDC light, and it's even smaller than you would most probably expect. It has an all-mighty user interface that can do everything. Mind that you need an astonishing 21700 cell. Go with Samsung 30T, or with a Golisi S35 which is perfect. Forget the silly "Geteed" or "LiitoKala" or you will end up with 3000 lumens or so.

I have all the versions of the E07 and the XPL-HI 6500K is by far the best. Overall, the E07 is one of the best flashlights I own, if not the best. For the battery, go for the Golisi S35, it's a perfect fit and supplies the required power.
