Gutster In betaflight make sure you have horizon selected for one of your modes. This will mean that the quad will not flip or go upside down.

Gutster Greatly depends on how you fly and your quad setup. The Gemfan are 0.07grams lighter but the AVAN have a higher inch pitch which is better for full throttle response.

Gutster Yes you can, power the VRAW with the 12v positive on your Arduino board.

Q: What size of motor fits this frame?

grabejud anything with 12mm motor mount. 1407, 1408, 15 series and 16 series. so those lighter 1404 is a no no for this.

Ghostface I just tested it. You can technically power it from a 5v pc usb but you can't charge as the minimum voltage for charging is 10v and you can't set it lower. You can check voltage tho and enter all the menus but not charge.
