Q: What is the bullet connecter size?

milkydeathgrind these do not come with bullet connectors because it is just dead weight for a quick connector you do not need.

milkydeathgrind Youare able to select the 1 piece version or the 2 piece version though so what you stated isn't entirely true.

milkydeathgrind Youcan use any receiver you like with this. You can also use any other electronics that you want in this because it DOES NOT COME WITH ELECTRONIC PARTS.

Q: Will this fit the FrSky XJT module?

Asked by Steve_Goral on 2021-03-20 07:53:18

milkydeathgrind Yesit will. It can fit any type of module that will fit into the external bay (same size\pins as frsky X9D\X9D ) OR even additional options via the two additional UARTs that are on the bottom of this radio.

milkydeathgrind I'mnot sure what you are asking exactly. If you are trying to ask if you can use a receiver that does not need to use the BEC from the esc then the answer is yes. This is simple enough to not need a video. If you don't want to use the ESC's BEC then just remove the 5v and ground wires (red and black) from the 3 pin connector coming from the ESC and only use the white SIGNAL wire and you essentially have stopped the BEC from being used.

Q: Can the color change dynamically being controlled by LUA scripting ?

Asked by BG411222222 on 2021-02-08 08:02:52

milkydeathgrind No because this is only directly connected to a 5v power output and a ground source. Essentially it does not matter where that power is coming from but there is no data link in this connection set up.

milkydeathgrind You can not put a receiver on uart 1. uart 1 is used for MSP while plugged in for the usb port. your micro usb uses uart 1 to connect to the computer. You could technically use uart 1 for receiver when it is not connected to the computer but then obviously you would have no way to set up your radio. Use UART 2 for sbus and if you are going to use smartaudio or tramp I recommend using uart 6 (which is a softserial port by the way).

milkydeathgrind You need to buy a Frsky transmitter that uses the D8 or D16 protocol which is basically any radio that Frsky makes. I recommend the X9D plus if you aren't on a budget because you will never need to upgrade or have any other radio for other models.

Q: Is this receiver compatible with Taranis X-Lite?

Asked by Spaniard76 on 2019-05-22 07:10:09

milkydeathgrind As of right now the ACCESS protocol which the X-lite uses can only be flashed on to MOST* D16 receivers and the D4R is a D8 protocol receiver. Short answer, no, you can not as of right now flash the ACCESS protocol on to this receiver, although this may change in the future. Your best bet would be to get a D16 receiver BUT you will still need to flash the ACCESS protocol on to these receivers (which is not difficult at all).
