TonBG248126253 Congratulations to add a battery to a portable device. I ordered one, looked at the voltage input diagram, sequence is connector - diode - switch - LM1117 fixed at 3.3 volts. So, the diode drops 0.6 volts and the LM1117 has a dropout of 0.6 volts, which makes me believe that 4.5 volts is the minimum input voltage, if you don't bypass the 1N4007 diode.
