My father and me bought the ZD Racing 9116 1/8 4wd Brushless electric Truc metal. Both were taken from the CZ warehouse and arrived in less than a week in Belgium. we did equipped both machine with 3670 brusheless motor, 120A esc, 20kg servo and 3s 2200 battery. The assembly is straight foward and can be achieved in less than on hour. The model comes with a lot metal upgraded part. I do not know the exact purpose of the machine, but our plan is to ride it like a buggy and not to bash it with huge jumps... For that purpose, the Pirates 2 is performing well. the huge wheels and the good suspension allow to ride on rough terrain. It's easy and precise to drive. The speed is large enough for what we need. There is a lot of tuning possibilities on the car. Both came with the same camber and pinching for the wheels. We did re-tune the front pinching. This was giving slightly better results. I removed one star because there is a bit of play between the bearings for the wheel axis and the cups in which they sit. It's the case for both cars. I did read somewhere on RC groups someone complaining about the same issue when upgrading from plastic part to metal one. I will monitor if it degrade with time but provided it remains like that it's acceptable. Conclusion : for the price, it a good truggy, fun to ride. Lots of metal parts. Good documentation. Most likely we need to anticipate the spare parts since most of them are in China (3-4 weeks delivery)
