Turns 180 degrees to the right and left can't actually look directly behind it would of been a little better if it could look right behind it but it seems smooth enough. You can't adjust the speed I tried double clicking the buttons it only has 1 speed. It has a tripod screw on the bottom so it can be mounted to it I put it on a suction cup mount and stuck it to the car. It actually worked well doing that with the gopro camera to the phone so you can see were it's pointed at. It needs to be charged out of the box it would of been better if it could spin around and look directly backwards that way you could spin it 360 degrees instead of just side to side.
