This is my second Volantex Atomic, and I also own two SR48s, quite frankly for the money, I honestly don't think you'll find a better designed, better constructed, better running boat out of the box. The one piece hull design goes along way to avoiding leaks, the hatches seal perfectly, and the mounting points for the rudder, strut and stabilizers are all sealed as well. I especially like the flex shaft design, doesn;t throw all the grease out like other boats I've had. The only concerning thing is the US warehouse wants to ship these boats in nothing but the retail box, not even a bag. The first one arrived banged up but salvageable, this arrived in much better shape, but had I not been there to get it, it would have sat on my steps all day advertising itself to thieves. Come on Banggood, you can do better. On the other hand, you'll love this boat. Just keep in mind, it's not a self righting V hull, in stock form it's fairly stable, you can still flip it though. It will float, but you'll be swimming to retrieve it or praying to wind gods to blow your baby home.

Super fast delivery, I ordered the yellow one and received a red one, but is ok my kid likes the red also. The company that put the stickers on the boat are still putting them very bad will all the reviews regarding them on youtube and here, they will came off in the water eventualy. The battery tray was lose, they forgot to put double sided tape on it so secure to the boat. The paint was a litle damage in some places ( so you can have an idea the styrofoam was red were the boat was secure in ) For the price volantex should have had more attention to this simple details talked by a lot of buyers.

Hello, parcel shipped and received quickly despite the covid-19 period that we all go through. Thanks to the delivery agents for continuing despite the risk. Cartons received tired of his crossing: He was a little twisted from everywhere. Fortunately, polystyrene packaging has done well even if it is time to switch to another product given what polystyrene is. the boat is delivered complete in RTS (ready to sail) and I was lucky to have it red:) 3S 2600mah 20c battery, 4-way receiver installed in the boat and 2-way radio quite complete. concerning this radio and its receiver: on the photos of the product card we see a small plug to binder the receiver out I did not receive this plug and on the radio the button bind has its location in the plastic and on the PCB of the electronics but is to the subscribers absent! This RTR version (or RTS;) is therefore not the best choice. Especially if you plan to use the radio with another receiver. I think the PNP version is a better choice given the price difference. the received boat support is a low - end plastic support and not the wooden one of the photos! Another thing changed by the manufacturer. the charger is a LIPO charger designed for 2S and 3S batteries with a charge through the balance socket. The ESC delivered is a 40A that takes from 2S to 4S in XT60. I will therefore test with my two 2S and 3S batteries and the one delivered with the boat. This ESC does not seem to have a reverse gear so be careful. The cable that connects this charger to the wall socket is far too short. plan to replace it if you don't want to be limited. cable in US plug but comes with adapter for france. I would complete this review once the confinement is complete. So for the price of this RTR kit I only put 3 stars because the radio part that could have been interesting but is totally restrained. I therefore advise you the PNP version because the boat is of quality.

Hello, colis expédié et reçu rapidement malgré la période covid-19 que nous traversons toutes et tous. merci aux livreurs de continuer malgré le risque. cartons reçu fatigué de sa traversé: il était un peu tordu de partout. fort heureusement les emballage polystyrène ont bien fait leur taf même s'il est temps de passer à un autre produit vu ce qu'est le polystyrène. le bateau est livré complet en RTS (ready to sail) et j'ai eu la chance de l'avoir rouge :) batterie 3S 2600mah 20c, récepteur 4 voies installé dans le bateau et radio 2 voies assez complète. concernant cette radio et son récepteur: sur les photos de la fiche produit on y voit un petit plug pour binder le récepteur hors je n'ai pas reçu ce plug et sur la radio le bouton bind a son emplacement dans le plastique et sur le PCB de l'électronique mais est aux abonnés absent! cette version RTR (ou RTS ;) ) n'est donc finalement pas le meilleur des choix. surtout si vous comptez utiliser la radio avec un autre récepteur. je pense que la version PNP est un meilleur choix vu la différence de prix. le support de bateau reçu est un support bas de gamme en plastique et non pas celui en bois des photos! encore un truc changé par le fabriquant. le chargeur est un chargeur LIPO prévu pour des batteries 2S et 3S avec une charge par la prise de balance. le ESC livré est un 40A qui prends de 2S à 4S en XT60. je testerai donc avec mes deux batteries 2S et 3S et celle livrée avec le bateau. cet ESC ne semble pas posséder de marche arrière donc attention. le câble qui relie ce chargeur à la prise murale est d'ailleurs beaucoup trop court. prévoir son remplacement si vous ne voulez pas être limité. câble en prise US mais livré avec adaptateur pour la france. je complèterais cette revue une fois le confinement terminé. donc pour le prix de ce kit RTR je ne met que 3 étoiles car la partie radio qui aurait pu être intéressante mais est totalement bridée. je vous conseil donc la version PNP car le bateau est de qualité.

looks great. Without reverse function the boat twin hull gets hooked on reeds and I can’t get off or a little weed gets on the propeller which can’t be removed by reverse shredding. Adding reverse functionality will increase the play time. please tell me how to access the reverse function. Thanks. Have not done a full speed test yet. Does anyone know how to get the reverse to work on this ESC? there is no manual for it that I can find online. Either the ESC was not programmed properly in factory or there is a controller sequence to put boat into reverse or I need to program the ESC or the Racent EP-40m or there is an idiot error on my part or the ESC was manufactured without reverse capability. Maybe an ESC manual would help me self diagnose.

First run all stock, including 3S battery resulted with a GPS of 21.9 mph on very calm waters and the battery was not completely charged. If I had to complain about something, I would say the graphics could have been applied better and they came with some scratches, yet for the money I am very happy with it. Ordered on July 11th with Priority Shipping and it arrived in MI, USA early on the 25th! First time Banggood customer and will likely be a returning customer.
